FAQs

Do you work with____?

I work with everyone! That being said, my expertise is in early to mid-career professionals in business (marketing, HR, accounting, finance, supply chain, IT, sales, etc.), STEM (Tech & Hard Sciences), and the non-profit & education sectors. I also have a strong passion for helping career pivoters. As someone who has made multiple career pivots myself, I feel very drawn toward helping clients make transitions to new industries, functions, and roles, including transitioning educations and non-profit professionals looking to transition into corporate roles.

I’ve never worked with a career coach, what are sessions like?

Sessions with me are casual and lighthearted but also highly action-oriented & solution-focused. We will always focus on the most important and pressing challenges first, as I understand that timing can be an important factor in job search. From there, we will spend time working through each phase of the Career Clarity Blueprint. sometimes we will do unique and fun exercises, sometimes we will spend time brainstorming together, and sometimes we will have working sessions focused on reviewing documents.

Is it really worth the investment?

Obviously I am going to say YES, but really think about it this way: The average American spends 90,000 hours or 1/3 of their lifetime at work. Work is a part of our DNA and most of us feel called to give of our time, talents, and abilities in some way to our communities. Building a career is a beautiful process that you can and should have agency over. Yes, coaching is a financial investment but think about the investment a bad job is taking out on your life. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t have to be that way! You can love Monday!
